Terms of service

Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from or use iso-guidance.com. By placing an order you accept them.

Who you are contracting with

ISO Guidance, a sole trader business registered in the United Kingdom, trading from 321-323 High Road, Office 336, Chadwell Heath, RM6 6AX, United Kingdom.

What we sell

We sell documentation templates as digital downloads, and certification services delivered remotely. Prices are shown in US dollars unless your local currency is displayed, and may be converted at checkout.

Your licence to use our documents

When you buy documentation, you receive a licence to use, edit and rely on those documents within your own business, including for as many of your own sites and staff as you need. That licence is permanent and does not expire.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish or share our documents outside your business, whether in original or edited form, and you may not use them to build a competing template or consultancy product. We retain the copyright in everything we author.

Delivery

Digital products are delivered by download immediately after payment clears. If a download does not reach you, email support@iso-guidance.com and we will resolve it.

What our documents do and do not do

Our documents are expert-authored templates, written to meet the requirements of the relevant ISO standard. They are a professional starting point, not a certificate. Whether your business meets a standard depends on how you implement and operate the system, which is within your control and not ours.

We provide guidance, not legal, regulatory or professional advice specific to your circumstances.

Certification

Where you buy certification from us, we assess your operating management system against the standard and issue a certificate only where we genuinely find it compliant. We never issue a certificate without a real assessment.

ISO Guidance is not an accredited certification body and we never claim or imply otherwise. Unaccredited certification is entirely lawful in the United Kingdom, the United States and other major markets, because ISO does not itself certify anyone and accreditation is voluntary. An unaccredited certificate is well suited to demonstrating credibility to customers and buyers. It may not be accepted where a contract or public tender specifically requires accreditation, and you should check that requirement before buying if it matters to you.

We do not and cannot guarantee that a system will pass an audit conducted by any other certification body, because that judgement belongs to that auditor and is outside our control.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for operating your management system honestly, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost contracts, or loss of an accreditation or certification granted by anyone else.

Suspension

We may refuse or cancel an order, or withdraw a certificate, where we find that information given to us was materially false, where our documents are being redistributed in breach of these terms, or where a certified system is no longer being operated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
